Blisco Dash

The Blisco Dash is an informal summer race organized by Ambleside AC, typically held on Wednesday evenings. This year, it has gained prominence as a British Championship race, featuring separate men's and women's events. The race covers an 8km route with a challenging ascent and descent of Pike of Blisco, starting from the Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel.

Participants are encouraged to navigate the rugged terrain without GPS, and the event includes a unique prizegiving with quirky awards.
