Rye Summer 10k & 5k Series: Race Four
This event is the fourth race in a five-race summer series held at The Point, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, Rye, East Sussex. There are three race distances available:
- 10k
- 5k
- 1k Junior run
The course is on tarmac, described as flat and accurately measured. The reserve covers a mosaic of interlocking shingle ridges, saltmarsh, intertidal grazing, reed-beds and saline lagoons. Wind can affect the reserve and when conditions are favourable quick times are possible. The event is described as having a friendly atmosphere.
Included for participants are bespoke medals for the 10k and 5k, a finisher medal for the junior run, trophies and free parking. On-the-day entry fees, subject to availability, are listed as 10k £25, 5k £20 and Junior Run £7. The full series takes place on the following Fridays in 2026: 08 May, 05 June, 10 July, 07 August and 04 September. Note that the full series option must be booked before the May race takes place.
