BBB10k - Battle, East Sussex
The BBB10k is a 10 kilometre road and country lanes race organised by the Battel Bonfire Boyes. The event is scheduled for 6 September 2026 and is based at The Abbey Green on the High Street in Battle, finishing close to Battle Abbey.
The course runs through the historic streets of Battle and nearby villages, using a mix of tarmac and country lanes with several hilly sections. The route is accurately measured and detailed route maps, including GPX files, are provided for entrants.
The event is managed by volunteers and marshals, and local residents frequently provide roadside support. Included for participants are a bespoke medal and trophies or prizes for leading runners. Entrants must meet the minimum age requirement of 15 on the event date.
