BBB10k
The BBB10k is a town-centre 10 km road race based at The Abbey Green on the High Street in Battle, East Sussex. The course runs through the historic streets of Battle and neighbouring villages and finishes by Battle Abbey. The route combines country lanes and tarmac with notable hilly sections; the course is described as accurately measured.
A chip-timed junior event of 1500 m starts outside The Abbey. The event includes a bespoke finisher medal and trophies and prizes for leading runners. Race information and route maps including GPX files are published for the 10 km course.
Race headquarters are located on The Abbey Green. The start is about 100 m from race HQ on the High Street and the finish sits under the shadow of Battle Abbey. Parking is available in pay and display car parks across Battle and parking on the High Street is not permitted. The nearest railway station is Battle, approximately one mile from race HQ. On-the-day entry may be offered subject to availability.
