Rye Summer 5k Series: Race Five
Race Five is the final event in a five-race summer series held at The Point, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, Rye, East Sussex, TN31 7TU. The full series dates are Friday 08 May 2026, Friday 05 June 2026, Friday 10 July 2026, Friday 07 August 2026 and Friday 04 September 2026.
The course runs through a coastal nature reserve that includes interlocking shingle ridges, saltmarsh, intertidal grazing, reed-beds and saline lagoons. The surface is tarmac and the route is described as flat and fast. Wind can be a factor on the reserve and, when conditions are favourable, quick times are possible. The course is accurately measured and the event is noted for a friendly atmosphere.

Route maps and GPX files are available for download. Included items vary by race and include a bespoke medal for the 5k, a finisher medal for the junior run, trophies and free parking. On-the-day entry fees listed are £20 for the 5k and £7 for the junior run, subject to availability. Full series booking is only available before the May race takes place.
