Event Details

The Rye Summer Classic Series consists of five races held on Friday evenings in the summer. The final race in this series is a 5k event. There is also a separate 1k junior run. The races take place within the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve in East Sussex, a conservation area featuring shingle ridges, saltmarsh, and lagoons.

Course Information

The course for this race is on tarmac, described as flat and fast. The landscape is coastal. Conditions on the reserve can be windy, but fast times are possible when weather is favorable.

Entry and Fees

Online entry is available for the event. On-the-day entry fees are listed as £20 for the 5k and £7 for the Junior Run, subject to availability.

What's Included

Participants in the 5k receive a bespoke finisher medal. Participants in the Junior Run receive a finisher medal. Trophies are awarded. Free parking is available at the event.
