Rye Summer 5k Series: Race Five : Rye Harbour Nature Reserve
The Rye Summer Classic Series is a five-race series held across spring and summer at The Point, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, East Sussex. The reserve covers a mosaic of interlocking shingle ridges, saltmarsh, intertidal grazing, reed-beds and saline lagoons, creating a coastal setting for the event. The course surface is tarmac and described as flat and fast; windy conditions are possible and can affect times. The course is accurately measured and route maps including GPX files are available.
This final race in the series is a 5k event. The series includes a 1k junior run at other dates, but only the 5k is available to book for this final race. Included for participants are a bespoke medal for the 5k, trophies and free parking. The event page notes on-the-day entry fees and provides dates for the full series across May to September 2026.
