About the race
The Russell Run is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Russell High School in Russell, Ontario. The event offers multiple distances and routes shown for the 5 km and 10 km courses, plus a children’s run.
The event program includes the following distances:
- 1.2 km Kids Fun Run for children 12 years and under
- 5.0 km Run/Walk
- 10 km Road Race
Race kit pickup and late registration occur on the day before the race at the Russell Community and Sports Centre and on race day at Russell High School. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. A Russell Run Club membership discount of five dollars applies when the membership is valid before registering.
Fee structure is tiered by registration period with early bird, regular, and late rates for the 5 km and 10 km and single pricing for the kids run; age categories reference age as of December 31st. The event allows stroller use and does not permit dogs. Awards are given to the top three men and top three ladies in the 5 km and 10 km events. Refunds are not issued unless the event is cancelled; upgrades to a longer distance are allowed for the price difference and downgrades are permitted without reimbursement.
