LV Zoo Run Wild for Animal Conservation 5k and 10k
An organized road race held at Lehigh Valley Zoo in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania. The event offers two distances:
- 5 km run/walk
- 10 km run
Online registration is available through PretzelCitySports with a nominal service fee; online registration closes at midnight on Wednesday August 5. Pricing listed for registration categories is: $40 early bird through July 3, $50 standard July 4 to August 5, and $65 for race day registration August 6 to August 8. Register by July 10 to be eligible for a RunWild t-shirt; after that date shirts are available while supplies last. T-shirt sizes include S, M, L, XL, and XXL. A mail-in payment option by check is noted, payable to Lehigh Valley Zoo.
Race bibs grant the runner plus two spectators admission to the zoo from 10:00 to 16:00. Participants must complete a waiver releasing event officials and associated organizations from claims and affirm adequate fitness to participate; minors require a parent or guardian signature.
