Event details
The Run/Walk for Hope 5K takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at White Hall Park in Richmond, Kentucky (500 White Hall Shrine Rd, Richmond, KY 40475). The event is presented by Legacy of Hope Restored. One hundred percent of race proceeds will benefit Legacy of Hope Restored, a U.S.-based nonprofit that supports educational and mentoring programs in Cartagena, Colombia, and Mendoza, Argentina.

Race features and logistics
The in-person event includes a scenic course through historic White Hall and a color run route around the park lake for the kids event. The Kids Color Run is untimed and participants receive free Kona Ice. The 5K includes overall and age-group awards for top three male and female finishers in listed age brackets. Race timing is provided by RaceRise; free event photos are supplied by Paul Martin Photography. Packet pickup is scheduled on race day at the park pavilion. Parking is at the main White Hall Park lot with volunteers directing traffic; indoor restrooms are available near the pavilion. Onsite refreshments include Kona Ice, Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck, and Bert's Speakcheezy. A commemorative race shirt is offered in men's, women's, and youth sizes.
