Run/Walk for Hope 5K - Richmond, KY, April 18, 2026
The Run/Walk for Hope 5K is an organized event at White Hall Park in Richmond, Kentucky. One hundred percent of race proceeds will benefit Legacy of Hope Restored, a U.S. nonprofit that supports educational and basic-needs programs for children and families in Cartagena, Colombia and Mendoza, Argentina.
Available event options include the in-person 5K, a virtual 5K, and a kids color run. The virtual option includes a commemorative race shirt mailed to participants for a donation.
The Kona Ice Kids Color Run is a 1K route around the lake. That run is untimed, designed for children aged 5 to 12, and includes on-course color stations and a free Kona treat for each child. The 5K includes overall and age-group awards and an award for the team with the most members. Race timing is provided by a third-party timing company and free race photos will be available.
Event logistics note packet pickup will take place at the park pavilion on race day. Parking is at the main White Hall Park lot and indoor restrooms are available near the pavilion. Additional event features include commemorative shirts in adult and youth sizes, food, music, face painting, and community fellowship.
