Run/Walk for Hope 5K
The Run/Walk for Hope 5K is scheduled for May 1, 2027 at White Hall Park in Richmond, Kentucky. The event is organized by Legacy of Hope Restored and 100% of race proceeds will benefit that nonprofit, which supports programs that feed, educate, and mentor economically poor and marginalized communities.

The kids Color Run is untimed, follows a lake loop where participants are splashed with colored powder, and includes a free Kona treat for child participants. The in-person 5K offers overall and age-group awards and a team award for the group with the most members; a $500 donation will be given to the Madison County school with the most participants.
Event features include a scenic course through historic White Hall, commemorative race shirts in men's, women's, and youth sizes, finisher medals, race timing provided by RaceRise, free race photos, and food and vendor offerings such as Kona Ice, Travelin' Tom's Coffee, and Bert's SpeakCheezy. Additional on-site activities listed by the organizer include music, face painting, cornhole, a bounce house, a photobooth, and outdoor play presented by Madison County Library.
Logistics note: packet pickup will be at the park pavilion, parking is at the main White Hall Park lot, and indoor restrooms are available near the pavilion.
