Distances
- Marathon
- Half marathon
- 5k
The marathon and half marathon share the same course for the first 10.8 miles, then split to complete their respective distances. Marathon runners may use that split point to finish the half marathon instead. The courses are described as flat and fast, and the marathon is listed as a Boston qualifying course.
Time limits are enforced: a 16 minute per mile pace requirement means the marathon must be finished within 7 hours and the half marathon within 3.5 hours. The marathon course includes 15 aid stations located at miles 3, 6, 8, 9, 10.8, 12, 13.1, 14.5, 16, 17.5, 19, 20.5, 22.5, 24 and 25. Packet pickup takes place before race day in downtown Salisbury at the finish line area; there is no race day packet pickup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
