About the race
The Running With Rotary 5K takes place on October 10, 2026 at the Mt. Arlington Civic Center in Mount Arlington, New Jersey. The event is organized by the Rotary Club of Lake Hopatcong and benefits the Mount Arlington 8th Grade Class.
The event distance is 5K (3.1 miles). The course is a timed, certified 5K on closed, paved roads and includes a water stop near the halfway point. The route passes areas with views of Lake Hopatcong and Bertrand Island. Participants are offered a shirt while supplies last.
Awards are listed for overall finishers and for age groups. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st through 5th overall male and female finishers, and to the top three finishers in the age categories 10 and under, 11 to 14, and 15 to 18.
Registration opens July 21, 2026 and closes August 30, 2026. The registration fee is $35. Packet pick up is handled the morning of the event at the Mt. Arlington Civic Center.
