Penguin Pace - Wayne, NJ
The Penguin Pace takes place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 580 Ratzer Rd., Wayne, NJ. The event program includes a 5K road race and a Kids Fun Run. The 5K entry fee is $40; the Kids Fun Run entry fee is $16. The Kids Fun Run is open to ages 12 and under. The event site and start/finish lines have moved to this church and the course is described as a new, flat course.
Charity, donations and event policies
A portion of the proceeds benefits the Wayne Interfaith Network Food Pantry. Donations of non-perishable food are accepted on race day and may also be dropped off at the Wayne Public Library or the YMCA. Checks or supermarket gift cards (suggested denominations $10 or $20) can be mailed to Wayne Interfaith Network, PO Box 3341, Wayne, NJ 07474-3341. Entry fees are non-refundable and registrations are non-transferable. The race director reserves the right to change the race format or date, or convert the event to a virtual format, without offering a refund.
