Morris Hot Cocoa 5K + 10K
The Morris Hot Cocoa event takes place on December 12, 2026, at a park in Morris Plains, New Jersey. The venue address is 1 Governor Chris Christie Drive, Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ 07950. The course is an all-grass, multi-loop trail with mixed terrain that includes dirt, grass, gravel, and some hills. Trail shoes are encouraged. There are no road crossings on the course. A course map and course tour are available from the organizer.
Race amenities include on-site parking on grass and in large lots near the soccer fields, real bathrooms and portable toilets, and a runner check-in located near the park high point. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Morristown the day before the event and on race day at the venue. Shirts are provided to the first 250 registrants and an event-themed medal is given to finishers. Complimentary hot cocoa is included with entry, and bundt cakes are provided at the finish by Nothing Bundt Cakes of Morristown.
Age group medals are awarded to the top three in each 10-year interval for the 10k. All proceeds support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
