Morris Hot Cocoa 5K + 10K
This event offers trail running or walking in Morris Plains, New Jersey on December 12, 2026. The course is a multi-loop trail with mixed terrain that includes grass, dirt, gravel, and some hills; trail shoes are encouraged. The course has no road crossings and there is no time limit for participants.

Participants receive complimentary hot cocoa at the finish line and an event-themed medal. Bundt cakes will be provided by Nothing Bundt Cakes of Morristown. A shirt is included in registration while supplies last, with a limited quantity available to about 250 registrants; additional shirts may be available for purchase after the event if there are no-shows.
Pre-race bib and shirt pickup is available at Fleet Feet in Morristown the day before the race and on-site on race day. Runner check-in is located at a high point in the park. Parking is available on the grass, in large lots by the soccer fields, and along the main park road. Real bathrooms and portable toilets are on site. Entrance is via the North Cottage Road park entrance; GPS coordinates are provided by the organizer.
Age group medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each 10-year age interval. All proceeds support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
