Running with my Gnomies - May 8, 2027
Running with my Gnomies is a trail event at Camp Tuscazoar in Dover, Ohio. The event offers multiple distances and uses trails on Camp Tuscazoar property.
- 50K two loops of the 25k course
- 25K one loop of the main course
- 9ish follows the main route then breaks off early
The 25k course is a loop composed of single-track trails, bridle trails, and short sections of gravel access road. The 50k is two loops of that 25k course. The 9ish mile option follows the same route as the longer distances for part of its course before returning to the finish area.
The course features decorative gnome figures hidden among rocks and trees; participants are invited to look for them and may take photos with the gnomes along the route. Aid stations are supplied on course: one at about mile 5 that all runners pass, a second at about mile 10 for 25k and 50k runners, and an aid location at the start/finish area that 50k runners pass after their first loop.
This is a cupless event. Runners must carry their own hydration (hydration vest or handheld bottle) and are advised to bring a reusable or collapsible cup for other drinks. Finishers receive a Gnome finisher medal and age-group awards are given by decade. Packet pickup is available the day before at Camp Tuscazoar and on race morning at the race site.
