Event
Running with my Gnomies takes place at Camp Tuscazoar near Dover, Ohio, on May 9, 2026. The event is organized as a trail running race on Camp Tuscazoar property and includes on-course volunteers, aid stations, and packet pickup before race day.
Distances
- 50K
- 25K
- 9ish mile distance
Course
The main course is a 25k loop; the 50k consists of two loops. The route uses a combination of single-track trails, bridle trails, and short sections of gravel access road. The 9ish mile distance follows the same route as the longer distances and then breaks off early to return to the finish.
Aid stations and race support
There is an aid station at about mile 5 that all runners pass. A second aid station is at about mile 10 for 25k and 50k runners. An aid station is also located at the start/finish area, which 50k runners reach after their first loop. The race is cupless: runners must carry a hydration vest or handheld bottle and are encouraged to bring a reusable or collapsible cup for drinks. Aid stations are described as well stocked.
Awards, logistics and accommodations
Every runner receives a race shirt. Finishers receive a gnome finisher medal. Age-group awards (1st and 2nd) are given by decade for male and female: 19 and under, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60+. The published cut off time is 10 hours. Packet pickup is available the day before the event and on race morning at Camp Tuscazoar. Camp accommodations include RV sites, rustic cabins, camping, and bunkhouses; several nearby bed and breakfasts and hotels are listed by the organizer.
