Running Scared 5K/13K - St. George
The Running Scared event on 10/17/2026 at Crosby Family Confluence Park in St. George, UT is a Halloween-themed running event offering multiple race formats and virtual participation. Distances offered on race day and virtually include:
- 5K with onsite and virtual options
- 13K with onsite and virtual options
- 18K Deadly Double (run the 5K then run the 13K; 18K total; virtual option available)
All onsite finishers receive a long-sleeve race shirt and a custom finisher medal. There are also "No Shirt" entry options for several race distances. The Deadly Double entry includes a finisher medal in addition to the race shirt when applicable; the onsite Deadly Double notes that participants must run the 5K and then return within 30 minutes to run the 13K.
Awards are presented for Top Three Male and Female Overall in both the 5K and 13K. Additional award categories include Top Three in Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters overall, as well as Top Three in each traditional five-year age group for both distances. The Deadly Double has recognition for the Top Three Male and Female finishers who complete both races.
