Running of the Bulls 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
This event on 08/29/2026 takes place in Hampton Cove, Huntsville, Alabama, at 261 Old Highway 431. It features certified courses for both a 5K and a 1 Mile run. The course is described as fast, flat and shaded. The start is near Tortora's and the finish is on the school side of the bridge.
Registration includes a race t-shirt and a medal. Early registration fees are listed as follows: for the 5K an individual fee of $25 and family tiers of $40 for two, $65 for three to four, and $80 for five; for the 1 Mile an individual fee of $15 and family tiers of $25 for two and $35 for three. Packet pick up is at Fleet Feet Huntsville, 2722 Carl T. Jones Drive, from 12:00 to 17:00.
Proceeds from the event go to the Hampton Cove Middle School PTA. Post race offerings include Chillz on Wheelz Popsicle, Coke products, Coffee Beeak, and fruit and snacks from Food City. Awards listed include Race Logo Canvaz, Fleet Feet gift cards, and Swift Recovery gift cards. Cold plunges are available after the race.
