Event Overview
The Running of the Bulls 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run is a community event held on the Hampton Cove Greenway in Huntsville, Alabama. The event offers two race distances.

Proceeds from the event go to the Hampton Cove Middle School PTA. Registration opens on March 1st.
Venue and Course
The event takes place on the Hampton Cove Greenway. The 5K start is located near Tortora's, on the other side of a bridge from the school, and the finish line is on the school side of the bridge. Runners are instructed to run on the right side of the greenway as there will be two-way traffic. The course features one aid station at the turn-around point. A lead cyclist will help guide runners and clear the path.
The 1 Mile Fun Run is described as a simple out-and-back course, starting on the school side of the greenway. It is noted as being mostly for children, and all participating children will receive a ribbon.
Event Information
Packet pick-up is available on the Friday before the race from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Fleet Feet & Swift Recovery. Parking is available in the school parking lot. Portable toilets will be available near the finish area and at the start.
Post-race refreshments include items from Dunkin' Donuts, ice cream, soft drinks, and fruit from Food City. Awards for the race can be picked up at Fleet Feet on the Monday following the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
