Event
The Running of the Bulls includes two events at Hampton Cove Greenway in Huntsville, Alabama: a 5K and a 1 mile Fun Run. The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026. Registration opens March 6, 2026. Entry fees listed are $25 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 mile. The 5K shows 500 spots available and the 1 mile shows 150 spots available. Both events are open to participants up to age 99. Proceeds go to the Hampton Cove Middle School PTA.

Logistics
The course start is noted as being near Tortora's and the finish is on the school side of the bridge at the greenway. A course map is provided by the organizer. Parking is directed to the school parking lot. The organizer lists one aid station at the turnaround and portable toilets near the start and finish areas. The 1 mile Fun Run is described as a simple out-and-back route and children receive a ribbon. Awards are available for pick-up at Fleet Feet.
