Rocketman Triathlon 2026
Rocketman 2026 is presented by Team Rocket Tri Club and takes place on August 30, 2026, at Carrol D Hudson Recreation Area, Redstone Arsenal, Laceys Springs, Alabama. Athletes start and finish at the Carrol D Hudson Recreation Area.
The event program includes an Olympic distance triathlon and several variant formats. Distances and formats listed for the event are:
- Olympic triathlon: 1500 m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run.
- Tri Relay: same distances, up to 3 participants.
- Aqua Bike: 1500 m swim, 40 km bike.
- Cyclo Run: 40 km bike, 10 km run.
- Aqua Pod: 1500 m swim, 10 km run.
There are multiple entry divisions listed, including collegiate, military, Athena and Clydesdale classifications. One division is designated for military personnel; proof of service is required at packet pickup.
Race day access to Redstone Arsenal requires registration in the Automated Installation Entry system. Department of Defense identification cards are registered in AIE when scanned at installation gates. Non DoD visitors must register at the Visitor Control Center outside Gate 9. Individuals without current access may apply in person for a yearly recreation badge before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
