The event takes place at Goodwood Motor Circuit, set at the foot of the Sussex Downs. The course uses smooth, traffic free tarmac at a historic motor circuit that opened to the public in September 1948 and remains in its original form. The race is chip timed and described as a fast, flowing course at a venue used for the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival.

Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned around the course to guide and encourage runners. An event village provides food and drink options and partner giveaways at the finish. The organiser highlights sustainability as a developing priority for events and notes a partnership with RT Kit to offer an event t shirt at more than 30 percent off when purchased with entry.
