Devil's Punchbowl 10km
Devil's Punchbowl 10km is a guided trail run around the Devil's Punchbowl near Hindhead, Surrey. The Punchbowl is described as a natural amphitheatre and local beauty spot. The route follows local trails and includes several hills and viewpoints.
The event covers 10 km and is led by an experienced ultra runner and running coach who represents Salomon. It is not a race; runners move as a group and may take the hills at their own pace. Participants should be able to sustain an average pace of 10 min per mile | 6 min per km on trail and have a suitable level of fitness.
Sunset sessions take place during the lighter months and offer running at dusk. Night sessions take place during the darker months and use headtorches in a group environment. A full kit list is provided. Silva head torches and Salomon trail shoes are available to trial, with sizes requested at registration.
Parking is available. Organisers will provide further event information to registered participants before the run. Adult tickets are offered, shown at 16.00 GBP. A complimentary alcohol free beer from Days Brewing Company may be available at the end of the run, subject to availability. If the run is cancelled due to COVID 19, participants will be offered a refund or transfer to a later event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
