The Devil's Punchbowl 10km is a guided trail run around the Devil's Punchbowl, a natural amphitheatre and beauty spot in Hindhead, Surrey. The route is approximately 10 km and includes upland trails with several hills. Runs are offered as sunset sessions in the lighter months and as night runs in the darker months, when participants use headtorches.
Logistics and format
Participants meet at Devil's Punchbowl Car Park in Hindhead. The event is run as a group rather than a race; runners should be able to sustain about 10 min/mile | 6 min/km on trail and have a suitable level of fitness. A full kit list is provided in advance. Silva headtorches and Salomon trail shoes are available to trial on the run, and parking is available at the meeting location.
