Event
This is a guided trail run around the Devil's Punchbowl in Hindhead, Surrey. The route uses trails within the natural amphitheatre and includes uphill sections with viewpoints. The run is organised by Running Adventures and is offered as either a sunset run in the lighter, warmer months or a night run in darker, colder months with participants using headtorches.
Practical details
Distance: 10km. The event is run as a group rather than a race; participants should be able to comfortably maintain an average pace of 10 min/miles | 6 min/km on trail for prolonged periods. A full kit list is provided before the run. Silva headtorches and Salomon trail shoes are available to trial during the session. Parking is available at the meeting point, Devil's Punchbowl Car Park in Hindhead, Surrey. The stated cost is £16 per person.
