Running for Africa 2026
Running for Africa 2026 takes place on September 19, 2026 at The Park at Hayes Farm in Huntsville, Alabama. The event includes a 5 km race and a 1 mile fun run and is presented with support from Fleet Feet Huntsville/Madison.

Registration opens April 12, 2026 and closes August 31, 2026. The listed registration fees are $30.00 for the 5K and $25.00 for the 1 mile event. The 1 mile event description notes that early registrants will receive a free t-shirt.
The 5K includes trophies for the fastest overall male and female finishers and for Masters (age 40 and over) male and female finishers. The 5K also awards first, second, and third place medals in the following male and female age categories: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, and 70+. All finishers will receive a medal.
Proceeds support Archangel Group International, a nonprofit organization that works on poverty relief, efforts to combat human trafficking, family restoration, community empowerment, and law enforcement training in Africa. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
