Clift Farm Classic
The Clift Farm Classic is a running event held in Madison, Alabama, taking place at the Village Green within the Clift Farm development. The event features a course designed on former farming pastures, resulting in a flat terrain with grades of less than 3%. The 5K route is USATF-certified and winds through the community’s newest neighborhoods.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K (USATF-certified running race)
- 1 Mile (Family Fun Run)
The event includes professional RFID chip timing provided by Race Ready Events. Two aid stations are positioned along the route: one at the start and finish area providing hydration, first aid, snacks, and electrolytes, and another between the first and second mile offering water and first aid. The race allows strollers and well-socialized, leashed dogs, with the requirement that these participants start at the back of the pack.
Registered participants receive a cotton short-sleeve race shirt if registered by the specified deadline, along with a sponsor-filled race packet. All finishers in both the 5K and the 1 Mile Fun Run receive custom medals. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female runners, as well as winners in Masters (40+) and GrandMasters (60+) divisions. Additionally, age group medals are awarded to the top three finishers in categories ranging from 12 and under to 70 and over. On-site parking at Clift Farm is available free of charge.
