FunRunForJo 2026
FunRunForJo 2026 takes place on Sunday 21st June 2026 at Oakwell Hall Country Park in Birstall, West Yorkshire. The event is the tenth and final RunForJo, held to remember Jo and to reflect the values the event stands for. Proceeds go to MoreInCommon Batley & Spen to support local projects.
The main event is a family fun run of approximately 2.5 km. The course is multi terrain, undulating and consists of one lap. Entry is limited to 200 places, with 58 places remaining at the time of listing. The individual entry fee is £10 and entry on the day is not available.
Event facilities include water, distance markers, toilets and baggage storage. The baggage store is not supervised and items must be collected by 1pm; all items are left at the owner’s risk. There are no changing facilities or showers. The day also includes food stalls, a bar, a mascots race and other entertainment. Fancy dress is optional and encouraged. Under 11s must stay with their responsible adult at all times and booking a place for an under 11 implies acceptance of responsibility for their safety and wellbeing.
