Otley 10 Mile Road Race
The Otley 10 Mile Road Race is a road running event organised by Otley Athletic Club, scheduled for Wednesday 9 June 2027. The race uses a certified course of 10 miles that was updated in 2019 to provide a smoother start and quieter roads while retaining the hilly sections on the route.
Entries are tiered by affiliation status, with recorded fees of £16 for UKA affiliated runners and £19 for unattached runners, and an option for entry on the night with an additional charge. The event uses chip timing and an independently measured course. Finishers receive an exclusive goody bag and there are prize awards with over £500 allocated to prizes. The venue offers free parking and on site food and drink options including a barbecue, a coffee cart, and a licensed bar, followed by prize giving.
The race notes specific safety rules from England Athletics: only bone conduction earphones are permitted, and runners must keep to pavements and cordoned areas as instructed by marshals. Organisers maintain an archive of results and media dating back to 1985 and provide a GPX file of the route. Proceeds from the 2026 race included a donation of £320 to the chosen charity.
