Wentworth Castle Trail Runs

Wentworth Castle Trail Runs 2025 is an evening trail running event held at Wentworth Castle Gardens in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Participants can choose between a 5km or 10km course through the historic landscape, which features formal gardens, monuments, and woodland across 500 acres. The event offers a friendly atmosphere, live chip-timed results, and is suitable for runners aged 11 and above.

It is canicross-friendly, allowing one controlled dog per runner. All finishers receive medals, merchandise, and refreshments. Supported by Merrell, the event provides a shoe demo and the chance to try new trainers.
