Wentworth Castle Trail Runs

The Wentworth Castle Trail Runs, held at the scenic Wentworth Castle Gardens in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, offer 5km and 10km trail running options suitable for various skill levels. The event takes place in the evening, providing a unique mid-week running experience within South Yorkshire’s only Grade I-registered landscape, featuring historic gardens, monuments, and ancient woodland. Participants can enjoy a beautiful course with landmarks like the Rotunda, Serpentine Bridge, and Stainborough Castle.

The event is Canicross friendly, allowing one controlled dog per runner. Supported by Merrell, runners can try free shoe demos.
