Event
The Round Res is a three-person relay held on 10 June 2026 at Scammonden Water, Top Car Park, Sledge Gate, Scammonden, HD3 3FT. The event is organised by Runable and is based on a 5 km route that loops around the reservoir. The challenge starts and finishes next to Scammonden Water. Entry is limited to a maximum of 45 teams of three and there is no entry on the day.
Race format and facilities
Teams run a staged relay on the 5 km lap. The team distances are:
- Runner 1: 15k
- Runner 2: 10k
- Runner 3: 5k
Lap sequence: Lap 1 is run by Runner 1 solo, at the end of Lap 1 Runner 2 joins; at the end of Lap 2 Runner 3 joins; Lap 3 is completed by all three runners together, and all three cross the finish line together. Race batons are issued at registration. Teams can register on arrival but the first runner must be registered before the race start.
Each team will receive free live GPS tracking, with tracking links available around event day and a Tracking Station during the event. A baggage store is located next to registration. All finishers receive pizza; prizes are listed for first all-male, first all-female and first mixed teams, plus a trophy for the first team overall.
