Event overview
The Final Countdown is a road/beach running event scheduled for Saturday, December 27, 2025, in Belmont Shores, Long Beach, CA. The course is an open beach-path route with marked out-and-back loops. The organizer notes participants should be courteous to pedestrians, other runners, and cyclists. An aid station at the turnaround near the start/finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit; an early start can be arranged by contacting the organizer. Transfers are allowed by request; there is a no-refund policy.

Bib check-in is at tables near 54th Place at the start of the beach path on E. Ocean Blvd. Residential parking is free; the nearby beach parking lot requires payment at a ticket machine.
