Event overview
The Final Countdown takes place on Saturday, December 27, 2025, in Belmont Shores, Long Beach, California. The event offers multiple distance options and supplies custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos, and an assortment of snacks and samples. Results are posted on the organizer website within 12 to 24 hours after the event. Transfers are allowed by request and there is a no-refund policy. Group discounts are available for groups of five or more. Volunteers may receive a free race entry.

Course and logistics
The course uses the Long Beach beach path near 54th Place and Ocean Blvd. It is an open course; participants share the path with pedestrians, runners, and cyclists. The 5k is an out-and-back route, the 10k is two 5k loops, the 15k is three 5k loops, and the half marathon is three 4.36-mile loops. An aid station is located at the turnaround near the start/finish and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Parking is free in the nearby residential area; the beach parking lot requires payment at a ticket machine.
