The Great Bunny Hop takes place on April 4, 2026 in Long Beach, California at 780 E Shoreline Ave, Long Beach, CA 90908. The event offers multiple race distances:
- 5k
- 10K
- 10-Mile
- Half Marathon
Early bib pick-up is available at Sports Basement Long Beach, 2100 N Bellflower Blvd. Local lots typically charge about $2 per hour; street parking is free but limited. The Passport app may be used to pay for parking for the Half and 10-Mile events.
Course and race services
Races use out-and-back routes on the beach path. The 5k route serves the 5k (one lap) and the 10k (two laps). The 10-Mile uses a 5-mile route run twice. The Half Marathon route is run three times. The beach path is open to the public; runners are asked to stay on the right side for pedestrians while cyclists use the left side.
On-course support includes a fully stocked water station at Belmont Pier and an aid station at the finish with water, Gatorade, gels, and fruit snacks. First aid kits are available at each station and crew members have CPR training. Turns are marked with chalk, runner turn signs, and flags. Gear check is available at the registration tent; participants should bring their own bag. All finishers receive a medal; overall first male and female in each distance receive 1st place medals.
