The Rabbit Run 5k & OC Challenge Wild Hare 5k
This event day in Irvine at Jeffrey Trail Middle School includes multiple running options and a family-focused program with an Easter theme. Races are offered on April 4, 2026, at a course described as an out-and-back on a landscaped running path that is shared with cyclists, other runners, and dog walkers. Participants pushing strollers are asked to keep to the right.
Event offerings include:
- Rabbit Run 5K - 3.1 miles, fun run with finisher medals.
- OC Challenge Wild Hare 5K - 3.1 miles, competitive race with age-division awards and overall trophies.
- Bunny Dash fun runs for children - 200 yards, 400 yards, and a half-mile option.
- Combo entry - running both 5Ks, two finisher medals and one event T-shirt.
Race services and logistics: bib pick-up is available only on race day; there is no early packet pickup. Timing is by a chip system. Parking is at 155 Visions near the school. Restrooms are located inside the school buildings to the south and north of the expo area.
On-course and finish amenities include finisher medals, Easter goodie bags while supplies last, stuffed bunnies at the finish, and limited egg-collecting stations.
