Race features and logistics

The course is an out-and-back on a landscaped running path shared with cyclists, other runners, and dog walkers; runners pushing strollers are asked to stay to the right. The event is chip timed by ITZABOUTTIME. The OC Challenge offers age-division awards 3 deep in five-year spans and overall top-three trophies for male and female finishers. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and the Rabbit Run includes a T-shirt and an egg-hunt goodie bag. Bib pickup is race day only; participant registration opens on race morning. Restrooms are located inside the school buildings to the south and north of the expo area. Parking is at Jeffrey Trail Middle School. Proceeds will support the formation of a foundation and a working ranch program that teaches troubled youth riding, chores, goal-setting, and related projects.
