About the race
The Rabbit Run 5K event in Irvine uses Jeffrey Trail Middle School as the start and finish area and offers multiple running options on a landscaped out-and-back path shared with cyclists, other runners, and dog walkers. The course guidance requests that runners pushing strollers stay to the right. Restrooms are located inside the school buildings to the south and north of the expo area, and parking is available at 155 Visions near the school.
Event options include:
- 13.1 Miles Wild HARE Half Marathon
- 3.1 Miles OC Challenge 5K with age division awards and overall trophies
- 3.1 Miles Rabbit Run 5K fun run with top three overall awards
- 3.1 Miles Eggcellent combo entry registering runners for both 5Ks with two finisher medals and one event T-shirt
- Bunny Dash kids races (short distances for very young children) with finisher medals and Easter goodie bags
The Rabbit Run 5K features Easter elements: participants may pick up up to four eggs on the course (with limits at the on-course egg stations) and receive a stuffed bunny at the finish while supplies last. Both 5K races have distinct finisher medals and custom event shirts. Race-day bib pick-up only; on-site registration is available on the day of the event. Timing for races is chip based.
