The Rabbit Run 5k & OC Challenge Wild Hare 5k IRVINE

The event takes place on Saturday April 4, 2026 in Irvine, California. It includes multiple running events centered at Cypress Village Elementary School with race start and finish at Jeffrey Trail Middle School. The course is an out-and-back route on a landscaped running path and is shared with cyclists, other runners, and dog walkers; participants pushing strollers are asked to stay to the right.

  • OC Challenge 5K with age divisions and overall trophies
  • EGGcellent COMBO running both 5K races
  • Bunny Dash children's races in 200 yards, 400 yards, and 1/2 mile

Timing is chip timed by ITZABOUT TIME. Awards for the OC Challenge include age group awards three deep in five-year spans and top three overall male and female trophies. The Rabbit Run lists a large custom finisher medal and an Easter prize bag for finishers; shirts and event bling are provided as described by the organizer. Restrooms are located inside the school buildings to the south and north of the expo area. Parking is available at 155 Visions Jeffrey Trail Middle School. Bib pick is day of the event only; participants pick up race materials on race day.

Proceeds support the formation of the Ware in the World Foundation and benefit Miss Pam's Ranch, a working ranch that serves troubled youth and other related projects. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
