Happy Easter Running Event
The Happy Easter 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, April 5, 2026, in Long Beach. The event takes place on a beach path in Belmont Shores, starting near 54th Place and Ocean Blvd. This is an open course, meaning participants share the path with other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
The course is designed with out and back loops on the beach path. The specific routes for each distance are as follows:
- 5 km: A single out and back route.
- 10 km: Two 5 km loops.
- 15 km: Three 5 km loops.
- Half Marathon: Three loops of 4.36 miles each.
An aid station is positioned at the turn-around point at the start and finish line. It provides water, Gatorade, and energy gels. Participants in the half marathon have a time limit of 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Registration includes several amenities such as a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, and access to free photos and videos. Additionally, snacks and samples are provided at the event. Results are typically posted on the organizer's website within 12 to 24 hours after the conclusion of the races.
