The 8th Annual Run4Sharks & Ocean Health Fair takes place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at South Jr High, 2320 E South Street, Anaheim, CA 92806. Event options include:
- 5K
- 1 mile (kids and family)
- Virtual 5K
The 5K is a professionally timed race with prizes for the top three finishers in each age group. The 1 mile event is untimed and geared toward children age 10 and under and family participants. All finishers will receive a custom medal.
Additional information
The event raises funds for Shark Stewards' Ocean Academy at South Jr High and for online youth education programs. The 5K follows community streets with police marshals and volunteers for participant safety. Age-group prize categories are: 10 under, 11-15, 16-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56-65, and 66 over. Children in the 1 mile receive a shark-themed goody bag and may choose shark socks. On-site activities include informational booths about ocean health and sharks, an opportunity drawing, and a silent auction. A team discount of $5 is offered for groups of five or more.
