Run4Geelong - event overview
Run4Geelong is a community running and fundraising event held on Sunday 8 November 2026 at the Geelong Waterfront, with the Event Village located at Eastern Beach Reserve and activities along Ritchie Boulevard. The event raises funds for Barwon Health and has previously supported local healthcare, with $323,000 raised and 6,750 participants in 2025. The 2026 field is set at 8,000 spots.
Multiple distances are offered, and participants may walk, run or roll. The event notes accessible course options and on-course support, and prams are permitted (participants with prams are asked to start at the back of their wave). Dogs are not permitted, except accredited service animals.

- 10 km Hanlon Industries 10km - run or walk
- 5 km City of Greater Geelong 5km - run or walk
- 3 km GMHBA 3km - run or walk
- 1 km Villawood Properties Kids Dash - under 12 only
The event includes a Community Cup team competition for schools, clubs, workplaces and community groups, with a prize pool of $5,000 distributed to the top three teams. The event is supported by multiple partners, including City of Greater Geelong and Cleanaway, and offers volunteer and team participation options.
