Heroes & Villains : You Yangs trail run
Heroes & Villains is a Saturday afternoon and evening trail run held at You Yangs Regional Park. The event uses a supported 5 km loop in the Western Plantation and includes a mix of daytime and night running, with competitors using headtorches on the loop.

- 50 km
- 6 hour event
Shorter distances are completed before sunset while the 21 km, 42 km and 50 km routes extend into the night. The event is described as safe and supported on course. Check-in and race starts are organised by distance and category.
Fees vary by distance and booking period. All listed prices include GST; additional booking fees from the ticketing provider are added at checkout. Tickets are also available for purchase on race day with an additional on-day administration fee.

Trailsplus donates $1 per participant to Canteen, the Australian organisation for young people living with cancer, and has donated over $80,000 in total.
