Run Yorkshire Roundhay Half Marathon October 2026
The event is a Half-Marathon held on 4 October 2026 in Roundhay Park, Leeds. The route is one lap of the park, running past the lake and including a climb to the Mansion House. Roundhay Park covers more than 700 acres of parkland, lakes, woodland and gardens.
The course is described as undulating and is multi terrain. The event takes place on traffic free parkland. Chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport and results are recorded using gun time for positions. Distance markers appear every mile and there are water stations each lap at approximately 5 km. A finisher medal is awarded and there are individual prizes for the top three men and women, veteran age group prizes subject to minimum entry numbers, and team prizes for first male and first female teams of three club runners.
Entry is limited to 200 runners with separate fees for affiliated and unaffiliated entrants. The minimum age to enter is 17. Race headquarters and registration are located in front of the Mansion House within Roundhay Park; facilities listed for race day include bag drop, toilets, changing areas, public parking and first aid.
