Event overview
The 2026 Run with the Wolves 5K and 1 Mile takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Atlanta. The event is organized by the Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School (ANCS) PTCA and has been held since 2012. It is open to participants regardless of school affiliation. Dogs are not allowed at the event. The race is an Atlanta-Journal Constitution Peachtree Road Race qualifier.

Registration, logistics and awards
Registration opens January 6, 2026. Registration fees vary by date and by ANCS affiliation; general public fees range from $30 to $40 for the 5K and $25 to $35 for the 1 Mile. ANCS students, parents/caregivers, and staff receive reduced fees. Participants who register by April 17, 2026 are guaranteed a limited edition 2026 event t-shirt; shirts for later registrants are available while inventory lasts. Pre-registered bib and shirt pickup is scheduled at ANCS campuses the days before the race. Race-day walk-up registration and bib pickup are offered, but race-day registrants are not guaranteed a shirt and sizes are first-come, first-served. A 5K course map and a MapMyRun route are provided. Awards will be given to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers in listed age and overall categories.
