Run With The Senses
Run With The Senses is a running event held in Montgomery at Montgomery Whitewater, 1100 Maxwell Blvd, Montgomery, AL 36104. The event benefits the Montgomery Public Schools Special Education Department; race fees include a contribution to that cause.
The event offers two distances:
- 5k - 3.1 miles; fee $35; includes T-shirt and participation medal.
- 10k - 6.2 miles; fee $45; includes T-shirt and participation medal.
Awards are given to the top three finishers overall by male and female categories and in age groups 0-18, 19-30, 31-50, and 51+. Walkers are not permitted in the 10k; walkers are allowed in the 5k but must comply with the event course cutoff.
The organizer states that the event date was changed and that people who registered earlier will be contacted individually about refunds or participation on the updated date. The organizer also notes that the shirt cutoff is past. Additional donations can be made at registration or at the event, and there will be a school supply donation drop at the venue.
