Holtville Cross Country Color Fund Run
The Holtville Cross Country Color Fund Run is a community fundraising event held on August 15, 2026, at 10425 Holtville Rd., Deatsville, Alabama, United States. The event is organized to support the Holtville High School Cross Country program.
Participants complete a 5K course (3.1 miles) on a loop used by the school’s cross country athletes. Participants may run or walk the course. Strollers are permitted; bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and pets are not allowed on the course for safety reasons. Water stations are available along the route.
Colored powder will be used at stations along the course. The powder is described as non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and washable. Organizers will make efforts to avoid direct contact with participants’ faces, but color may contact clothing, skin, and shoes. Participants are encouraged to wear a white shirt to experience the color effect.
The event proceeds directly support the Holtville High School Cross Country program, including equipment and program costs. Registration opens June 18, 2026, and closes August 15, 2026; the registration fee is $20. The event takes place rain or shine unless severe weather requires cancellation.
