Buzz Run is scheduled for August 15, 2026, at Alabama State University in Montgomery. The event is organized as a fundraising run and includes a main 5K and a separate Stinger's Fun Run. Bib pick up sites and times will be announced closer to race day.

The organizers state the event will run rain or shine when it is safe to do so; weather on race day may be hot, very hot, or warm, and rain is possible. The event is stroller friendly; participants using strollers are asked to place themselves in an appropriate pacing area at the start line. Dogs are not permitted. Walkers are welcome and are asked to complete the 5K within one hour. The event also welcomes self propelled wheelchair racers and duo teams, and organizers can make accommodations to support participation.

There is ample free and convenient parking near the 5K start line at ASU Stadium, with specific parking details provided closer to the event.
