Event overview
Run with the Nuns is a 5K race held on the grounds of Mount Assisi and the Mount Assisi Convent in Lemont, Illinois. The course runs through natural hills and varied scenery and uses multiple surfaces, including asphalt and grass. Runners and walkers are welcome. All participants receive a medal and a dry-fit shirt. The event is sponsored by the Mount Assisi Alumnae and race proceeds benefit the School Sisters of St. Francis of Christ the King and the Mount Assisi Ministry, a 501(c)(3) organization. A virtual race option is available until Race Day.
Location, dates and fees
Location: Mount Assisi Center and Convent, 13860 Main St, Lemont, IL 60439. Packet pick-up and in-person registration are scheduled on dates before and on the race weekend, and the race day is listed as October 18, 2026. Registration fees are $50.00 for adults and $20.00 for children 12 and under who walk or run with a parent. Sponsor deadlines include September 21 for inclusion on runner shirts and September 28 for mile marker signs. Volunteer and sponsorship opportunities are offered for the event.
