Event overview
Run with the Nuns 2026 is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the Mount Assisi Center, 13860 Main Street, Lemont, Illinois, United States. The event is a 5K run/walk held on the Mount Assisi campus and supports the School Sisters of St. Francis of Christ the King. The course runs through natural hills on a mix of surfaces, including asphalt and grass. All participants receive a long sleeve performance shirt and a custom race medal.
Race details
- 5K Adult Run/Walk (13 and over)
- 5K Youth Run/Walk (12 and under)
- 5K Virtual Runner option (mailing of shirt and medal within the United States)
The virtual option allows participants to complete a 5K (3.1 miles) at a time and place of their choosing. Virtual participants are not eligible for race awards and their finish times are not posted on the official results. Pre-race packet pick up and in-person registration are offered in the days before the event at Mt. Assisi, with additional packet pick up available on race morning.
Top three finishers in the male, female, youth boy, and youth girl categories will be recognized and given awards. Registration details and pricing vary by entry type. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
