Run with the Nuns
Run with the Nuns is a 5K held at the Mount Assisi Center and Convent in Lemont, Illinois. The event includes both in-person and virtual race options and supports the School Sisters of St. Francis of Christ the King and the Mount Assisi Ministry, a 501(c)(3) organization.
The course runs through the natural hills and scenery of Mount Assisi and the convent grounds. The route crosses multiple surfaces, including asphalt and grass, and accommodates both runners and walkers. All participants receive a race medal and a dry fit shirt.
Registration is offered online and in person, with packet pick-up and in-person registration available at Mount Assisi on dates prior to the race and on race day. Entry fees listed for the event are $50 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under who walk or run with a parent. The event is organized by the Mount Assisi Alumnae and lists sponsor opportunities and deadlines for inclusion on race shirts and mile marker signs.
