Run Wild 5K at Orange County Zoo

The Run Wild 5K takes place on May 16, 2026 at the Orange County Zoo in Irvine Regional Park, Orange, CA. The event includes a 5K run/walk and a 1K run/walk. The course runs through the OC Zoo, and all participants receive free zoo entry after the event. Proceeds benefit the Foundation.

The OC Zoo houses more than 100 animals, including a black bear, jaguar, mountain lions, a bald eagle, kit fox, ocelot, beaver, and great horned owl. Many of the zoo animals are injured, orphaned, confiscated, or not releasable to the wild. The zoo also features a barnyard area with domestic goats and sheep.
