The OC Zoo houses more than 100 animals, including a black bear, jaguar, mountain lions, a bald eagle, kit fox, ocelot, beaver, and great horned owl. The zoo also features a barnyard area with domestic goats and sheep. Many of the zoo animals are injured, orphaned, confiscated, or not releasable to the wild.
Event features include an on-site festival and a costume contest. Bib pickup is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in Irvine and on-site on race day. Parking at Irvine Regional Park normally carries a $5 per vehicle park fee; gate attendants will note race attendees for race entry. Dogs are not allowed on the course for safety reasons. Strollers are permitted, and participants with bibs receive race shirts and medals.
Additional logistical details such as course maps, exhibitor signup, and sponsor listings are provided by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
