Irvine/Orange County Turkey Trot : event overview
The Irvine/Orange County Turkey Trot is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Irvine Valley College, 5500 Irvine Center Drive, Irvine, CA 92618. The event offers multiple race formats on the same day, including a chip-timed 5k, a non-timed 1 mile fun run/walk, a combined "Turkey Feast Combo" (1 mile plus 5k), kids races, and a virtual run. All finishers receive a custom cast finisher medal, an event t-shirt, a race bib, and a slice of pumpkin pie at the finish. The 5k is chip timed by Itz About Time. Dogs are not allowed on the course.

Awards include age-division prizes given three-deep across five-year spans from youth through 80 and over, plus trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers. Costume awards are offered for best dressed (individual or group up to six). The Turkey Feast Combo requires completing the 1 mile within 30 minutes to be eligible to start the 5k. Packet pick up is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in Laguna Hills; race-day bib and shirt pick up is located on the Irvine Valley College quad. Parking requires a $5 pass to be displayed on the dash; some campus entrances will be closed. The event collects food donations for South County Outreach and Urban Health Alliance.
