Irvine/Orange County Turkey Trot 5K & 1 Mile
The Irvine/Orange County Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026 at Irvine Valley College in Irvine, California. The event offers multiple race choices on a flat, walker and stroller friendly course that runs around the college perimeter.

Finishers receive custom cast finisher medals, an event shirt, a custom race bib, and a slice of pumpkin pie at the finish. The 5K is chip timed by Itz About Time; the 1 Mile is presented as a fun run and is untimed. The Turkey Feast Combo requires completion of the 1 Mile within 30 minutes to allow participation in the 5K, and participants receive two medals if both races are finished.
Kids races are grouped by age with very short distances for toddlers and longer youth loops for older children; adults may run alongside a child. Awards include division prizes for the top three male and female finishers across multiple age categories, overall trophies, and costume awards for best dressed. A Holiday Expo is scheduled and the event supports a food drive benefitting South County Outreach and Urban Health Alliance.
Packet pick up is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in Laguna Hills and on race morning at the college. Parking requires a $5 pass that must be displayed on the dashboard.
