Western Sydney Lakes Marathon : Western Sydney Lakes Marathon (Elite Energy)
Western Sydney Lakes Marathon (formerly Run Western Sydney) takes place at the Sydney International Regatta Centre on 21 November 2026. The event is staged around the Competition Lake and Western Sydney Lakes and includes a mix of paved sections and trail.

- 42.2 km marathon : Western Sydney’s only marathon
- 21.1 km half marathon
- 10 km run
- 5 km run
- 2 km fun run
Course and race logistics are organised by Elite Energy. The 10 km, 5 km and 2 km are described as fast and flat; the marathon and half marathon include both paved and trail surfaces. Aid stations and on-course nutrition will include water, electrolytes, cola and lollies, with the following expected aid station passes: marathon 12, half marathon 6, 10 km 4, 5 km 2, 2 km 0. Medical support, professional electronic timing, event photography and post-event snacks are provided. All finishers receive a medal; marathon and half marathon entries include an event souvenir item.
Rules and facilities note that dogs and wheelchairs are not permitted in the marathon and half marathon, prams are allowed in the 2 km and 5 km (starting at the back), and toilets and bag drop services operate from the Event Hub. Participant and spectator parking is available within the Sydney International Regatta Centre. The event uses reusable BibSNAPs to reduce waste.
