Western Sydney Lakes Marathon
Western Sydney Lakes Marathon takes place on 21 November 2026 at the Sydney International Regatta Centre. The course runs around the Competition Lake and the surrounding Western Sydney Lakes.
The event offers a range of race distances and surface types. The shorter distances are described as fast and flat, while the half marathon and marathon include a mix of paved sections and trail. Aid stations on course will provide water, electrolytes, cola and lollies; exact aid station locations are confirmed after course approval. Medical support, electronic timing and event photography are provided.

Logistics and participant services include a bag drop at the Event Hub with bib-attached tags, toilets inside the centre and near the baggage area, and parking within the Sydney International Regatta Centre. There are cut-off times for the longer races and specific minimum ages for entry: marathon 18 years, half marathon 17 years. Podium medals are awarded for 1st to 3rd place male and female in each age category except the 2 km event. All finishers receive a finisher medal; marathon and half marathon entries include a souvenir item.
The event uses reusable BibSNAPs instead of pins to reduce waste and aims to minimise single-use cups and local community impacts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
