Run Western Sydney
Run Western Sydney is held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre around Competition Lake on 21 November 2026. The course is described as flat and scenic and is set up to support fast times.
Distances offered:
- 21.1 km Half Marathon
- 10 km Run
- 5 km Run
- 2 km Fun Run
The event uses a rolling, self-seeded start. Aid stations will supply water, electrolytes, cola and lollies; the half marathon passes aid stations nine times, the 10 km four times, the 5 km twice and the 2 km has no aid stations. Toilet and portable toilet facilities are located inside the centre and near the baggage area. A bag drop operates from the Event Hub and parking is available within the Sydney International Regatta Centre.
Participant inclusions and services include a finisher medal for all runners, an event souvenir for half marathon entrants, podium medals for top three in each age category, professional electronic timing, medical support on course and event photography through FinisherPix. Age minimums are set per distance (half marathon 17+, 5 km 12+, 2 km no minimum). Prams are permitted for the 2 km and 5 km (start at the back); dogs and wheelchairs are not permitted.
