The 5K Foam Fest - Sydney 2026
The event is a 5 kilometre obstacle-course fun run held on December 5, 2026, at Saxony Rd, Horsley Park NSW 2175, Australia. The course features more than 25 obstacles, inflatable attractions including an inflatable waterslide, mud pits and approximately 2.5 million cubic feet of foam. Music, food vendors and a beer garden are part of the festival area.
Participants receive a race entry package that includes a string bag, buff, finisher's medal, a Foam Fest tattoo, access to water stations, shower station and change rooms, access to the festival area and a free low-resolution finish photo. High-resolution photos are available for purchase. Registration prices are listed as inclusive of mandatory charges; one listed ticket price is $69.99.
Age and supervision rules are specified. The event is open to participants aged seven and up; children aged seven to twelve must run with a registered adult. Children six and under may not run the 5K course but may use a free Kids Fun Zone with adult supervision. Participants under 18 require a legal guardian to sign the event waiver.
The run is an optional-obstacle format where obstacles may be skipped and the course can be completed at individual pace. The organizer notes that the activity carries risks of injury or death and that waivers are required. No refunds on entries are provided, though transfer options are available.
