About the race

WS10 at Nepean River is one of three monthly 10 km events held on the third Sunday of each month around Western Sydney. The Nepean River venue is based at Tench Reserve, Jamisontown, with listed event dates including 15 February, 17 May, 16 August and 15 November.

The course starts and finishes in Tench Reserve in the same general area as Nepean River parkrun. Parking is available on Tench Avenue and in nearby carparks. There is provision to secure bicycles but participants should bring their own lock. Multiple public toilets are located at the start and on the course, though some facilities may not open until the event has commenced. Drinking fountains are also available.

The route is an out-and-back course run entirely on sealed cycle and pedestrian paths alongside the river. The path surface is suitable for prams and is resistant to adverse weather. There are no road crossings on the course, but runners will share the paths with walkers and cyclists and should expect other users. Registration for WS10 requires a site account; returning participants who have previously registered remain registered, and new participants must complete the online registration and confirm by email. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
