About the race
WS10 at Nepean River is a free monthly 10 km run held on the third Sunday of the month at Tench Reserve, Jamisontown. The Nepean River dates listed for this location include 15 February, 17 May, 16 August and 15 November.
The course starts and finishes in Tench Reserve, in the same general area as Nepean River parkrun. Parking is available on Tench Avenue and in carparks off Tench Avenue. Participants may bring a bicycle and should bring a lock to secure it.
Facilities at the venue include multiple public toilets near the start and on the course, and several drinking fountains. Note that toilet facilities may not open until after the event begins.
The route runs entirely on sealed cycle and pedestrian paths that are suitable for pushing a pram and resistant to adverse weather. The course follows an out-and-back path along the river with no road crossings. Participants should expect to encounter many runners and walkers and some cyclists on the shared paths.
To participate, a runner must be registered on the WS10 site. Returning participants who are already registered do not need to re-register; new participants must complete the site's registration process and confirm via the provided email link.
