BIAAZ Run, Walk and Roll
The 8th Annual BIAAZ Run, Walk and Roll takes place at Tempe Kiwanis Park. Organized by StartLine Sports LLC, this event supports the Brain Injury Association of Arizona, with proceeds benefiting adaptive recreation and socialization programs such as Camp Brain, movie days, and game nights. Participants can choose from several distances:
- 10k run or walk
- 5k run or walk
- 1 mile fun walk
- Virtual race option for US residents
The event features a chip-timed course with real-time results and photos. Participants receive a custom event finisher's medal and a choice of a tech or cotton short-sleeve shirt. A "Runner's Brunch" featuring fruit, granola bars, water, and Gatorade is provided before and after the race. For the 10k and 5k distances, awards are presented to the top three finishers in multiple age categories, ranging from age 8 and under to 80 and over.
The course is located at the South Entrance of Kiwanis Park. The event is accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons. Leashed pets are also permitted. For safety reasons, roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed on the race courses. Registration is available in advance or on-site the morning of the event.
