2026 Dick's Run to the Sun 5K
The Florida Striders Track Club presents the 2026 Dick's Run to the Sun 5K in Orange Park, Florida on April 18, 2026. The event includes a road race and a separate kids event, and it is part of the 1st Place Sports Grand Prix Series.

The course is an out and back along River Road and is described by the organizer as flat and scenic. The event offers a halfway water stop on course and snacks and water after the finish. Finisher medals are provided to the first 600 finishers. Age group prizes are awarded for top finishers; participants must be present to claim age group awards.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at two 1st Place Sports locations and race day pickup is available near the start line. Online registration closes April 16 and in-store registration is available through April 17 at 1st Place Sports locations. Refunds are not provided unless optional refund protection was purchased.
The Florida Striders Track Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and donates race proceeds to local youth fitness initiatives. The event lists Dick's Sporting Goods as title sponsor and acknowledges additional community sponsors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
