The BHI 2nd Annual 5K & Fun Run takes place on August 1, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida. The event is held on Black Hammock Island with the race site at the Black Hammock Island Community Center, 15770 Sawpit Road, Jacksonville, FL 32226. The program includes these events:

Race features and awards

The course is held entirely on Black Hammock Island and begins and ends at the Black Hammock Island Community Center. Registration for the race includes a short sleeve T-shirt, a finisher medal, and access to a post-race back to school bash. Packet pickup is available on race morning at the community center.

Awards for the 5K are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and to the first male and female finishers in these age groups: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.
