Run to Feed the Hungry

Run to Feed the Hungry is Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services’ 33rd annual Thanksgiving event on November 26, 2026. The family-friendly event is presented by KCRA/My58 and sponsored by Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora, LLP. It raises funds and awareness about hunger in Sacramento County.

The event offers timed running and walking options for participants of different paces. Distances include:

Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services has served Sacramento County for 50 years and partners with 112 agencies. Nearly 330,000 individuals use SFBFS and its partner network for food assistance each month. After six straight years of increased demand, organizational resources are increasingly stretched. The event states that every dollar from Run to Feed the Hungry will be used to feed the more than one in four Sacramentans who are at risk of hunger.
