Run to Feed the Hungry

Run to Feed the Hungry is Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services' 33rd annual community run on Thursday, November 26, 2026. The event raises funds and awareness about hunger in the Sacramento area and is presented by KCRA/My58 and sponsored by Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora, LLP.

Nearly 320,000 individuals turn to Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services and its network of 110 partner agencies for food assistance each month. SFBFS has served Sacramento County for 50 years. After five straight years of increased demand, organizational resources are becoming increasingly stretched. The event directs funds to feeding people in the local community, with the organizer stating that every dollar raised will be used to feed the more than one in four Sacramentans at risk of hunger.

Registration opens Aug 1. The event is held in association with Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services at their Sacramento location.
