Davis Turkey Trot
The Davis Turkey Trot is a multi-distance running event held at Civic Center Field in Davis, California on Saturday, November 21, 2026. The event offers timed and untimed options across several distances and includes kids fun runs.

Registration is handled online, with entry fees that vary by date of entry, distance chosen, and age; youth discounts apply for the 5K and 10K. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Veterans Memorial Center and on race day at Civic Center Field. Entries include race timing where applicable, a commemorative bib, a finisher medal for all participants, and a long sleeve DryBlend shirt for most adult distances (kids receive short sleeve cotton shirts).
Awards are given to the top three overall finishers by gender and to top finishers in age groups, with age division results based on net time. Several special divisions are offered for categories such as adaptive athletes, cancer survivors, first responders, stroller entries, educators, UC Davis community members, and military veterans; the 2 Mile also features dog size divisions.
The course is primarily on a bike path; participants are asked to keep slower traffic to the right and allow faster participants to pass on the left.
