The Davis Turkey Trot is scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Civic Center Field in Davis, CA 95616. Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- 2 Mile
- 1 Mile
- Kids Fun Runs
The course uses significant sections of local bike path; participants are asked to keep slower runners to the right to allow passing on the left. Strollers and dogs are permitted but must start toward the back; dogs must be on non-retractable leashes and be comfortable in crowds. Toilets are available on the longer divisions. The half marathon has runners led by experienced pacers for a range of target finish times. All finishers receive a commemorative medal.
Registration and logistics
Registration is handled online with entry fees that vary by entry date, distance, and age; youth discounts apply for the 5K and 10K. Entries include a commemorative bib, race timing for timed divisions, and a long-sleeve DryBlend T-shirt for the 2 Mile, 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon (kids receive a short-sleeve cotton T). Kids Fun Runs are not timed. All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable to another event. Packet pick-up is available the day prior at a nearby veterans center and on race day at Civic Center Field. Age-group and overall awards are offered for timed divisions; age-group awards are based on net elapsed time. Charitable partners include Cancer Champions and the Yolo County SPCA.
