Davis Turkey Trot
The Davis Turkey Trot is a community running event at Civic Center Field in Davis, California, held on November 21, 2026. The event includes timed road race divisions and untimed kids runs, with course details provided by the organizer.

Registration opens mid‑Summer 2026 and is handled online; entry fees vary by date of entry, distance, and age. Cash is accepted at packet pick up and on race day. Packet pick up is available the day prior at the Veterans Memorial Center and on race day at Civic Center Field.
Entries include race timing, a commemorative bib, and medals for all finishers. Long sleeve DryBlend shirts are provided for the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and 2 Mile; Kids Fun Runs receive short sleeve cotton shirts. Kids Fun Runs are not timed.
Awards include overall prizes for the top three finishers per gender and age group awards determined by net time. Special divisions are offered in several distances, including adaptive athlete, cancer survivor, first responder and others; the 2 Mile also includes small, medium, and large dog divisions.
Much of the course runs on a bike path; participants are asked to keep slower traffic to the right. Strollers and dogs must start toward the back, and dogs must be on non‑retractable leashes and behave well in crowds.
Beneficiaries for 2026 include Cancer Champions and the Yolo County SPCA. Volunteers are used throughout the event and a volunteer voucher program is available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
