Davis Turkey Trot
The Davis Turkey Trot is organized by A Change of Pace and is scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Civic Center Field in Davis, California. This is the 38th annual running of the event and it includes multiple distances for different ages and abilities.

All registration is handled online; entry fees vary by date, distance, and age. Cash is accepted at packet pick-up and on race day. Packet pick-up is available the day prior, Friday, November 20, 2026 from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Center (203 E 14th St, Davis) and on race day beginning at Civic Center Field.
Entries include participant shirts (long sleeve DryBlend for most adult distances; short sleeve cotton for kids fun runs), finisher medals for all finishers, timing and a commemorative bib. Kids Fun Runs are not timed. Overall awards are presented to the top three finishers per gender based on gun time; age group awards are based on net time. Special divisions include adaptive athlete, stroller, UC Davis student/faculty/staff/alumni, and US military veteran.
The course is largely on a bike path; participants are asked to keep slower traffic to the right and allow faster runners to pass on the left. Dogs are not permitted due to insurance requirements and strollers must start toward the back. The half marathon has a four hour course cutoff.
