Davis Turkey Trot : A Change Of Pace
The Davis Turkey Trot is scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2026 at Civic Center Field in Davis, California. The event offers multiple distances for adults and children, with in-person packet pick-up available the day before at Veterans Memorial Center and on race morning at Civic Center Field.
Distances include:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- 2 Mile
- 1 Mile
- Kids Fun Runs
Entries include a commemorative bib and race timing for timed divisions, long sleeve DryBlend shirts for the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and 2 Mile, a short sleeve cotton shirt for Kids Fun Runs, and a finisher medal for all entries. Overall awards are presented to the top three finishers by gender using gun time; age-group awards are determined by net (elapsed) time. Kids Fun Runs are not timed.
Course notes state much of the route uses a bike path; participants are asked to keep slower runners to the right and allow faster participants to pass on the left. Dogs are not permitted on the course and strollers must start toward the back of the starting area for safety. Pacers will lead goal finish groups for the half marathon.
Registration is handled online with fees based on entry date, chosen distance, and age. The event names Cancer Champions and the Yolo County SPCA as charitable partners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
