Davis Turkey Trot : Davis, CA (November 21, 2026)
The Davis Turkey Trot is a community road race produced by A Change of Pace and held at Civic Center Field in Davis, California. The event offers multiple distances, running on a course that is primarily on local bike paths. Participants are asked to keep slower traffic to the right and allow faster runners to pass on the left.
Packet pick-up is available the day before the event at Veterans Memorial Center and on race day at Civic Center Field. Registrations open mid-Summer 2026. Entry packages include a long sleeve DryBlend shirt for most adult distances and a short sleeve cotton shirt for kids fun runs; all finishers receive a medal. Timed divisions receive official race timing and are eligible for age-group and overall awards; kids fun runs are not timed.
Awards include top three overall finishers by gender based on gun time, with age-group awards determined by net elapsed time. The event includes a variety of special divisions such as adaptive athletes, cancer survivors, first responders, stroller, teacher/educator, UC Davis affiliates, and military veterans. The 2 Mile division also includes dog-size categories.
The Davis Turkey Trot partners with local charities, including Cancer Champions and Yolo County SPCA, and provides volunteer and fundraising programs, including a race voucher program for eligible volunteer roles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
