Davis Turkey Trot
The Davis Turkey Trot is a community road race produced by A Change of Pace in Davis, California. The event offers multiple distances that start and finish at Civic Center Field and includes both timed and untimed divisions.

Entry for timed divisions includes a long sleeve DryBlend T-shirt and a finisher medal; Kids Fun Runs include a short sleeve cotton T-shirt and are not timed. All finishers receive medals. Race timing and commemorative bib numbers are provided for timed divisions.
Awards are given for overall placement and age groups. Overall awards are presented to the top three finishers per gender based on gun time. Age group awards are determined by net (elapsed) time. Several special divisions are available, including adaptive athlete, cancer survivor, first responder or law enforcement, stroller, teacher or educator, UC Davis affiliation, and US military veteran. The 2 Mile also includes dog size divisions.
The course is largely on a bike path and participants are asked to keep slower traffic to the right and allow faster participants to pass on the left. The event partners with local charities including Cancer Champions and the Yolo County SPCA. Volunteer roles are offered across event operations, and a volunteer voucher program provides race vouchers for selected assignments.
