Davis Turkey Trot - A Change Of Pace
The Davis Turkey Trot is a multi-distance running event set for November 21, 2026, at Civic Center Field in Davis, California. The event offers a range of distances and children’s runs, with timed divisions and untimed kids events.

All registration is handled online and entry fees vary by date, distance, and age; youth discounts are available for the 5K and 10K. Registration is scheduled to open mid-Summer 2026. Packet pick-up is offered the day before at Veterans Memorial Center and on race day at Civic Center Field. Entries include a commemorative bib, race timing for timed divisions, finisher medals, and event shirts (long sleeve DryBlend shirts for most adult distances; short sleeve cotton shirts for kids runs).
Awards include overall top three finishers by gender based on gun time and age-group awards determined by net time. Several special divisions are offered for the 5K, 10K, and half marathon, including adaptive athlete, cancer survivor, first responder, stroller, teacher/educator, university affiliation, and military veteran. The 2 Mile event includes dog size divisions. Much of the course is on a bike path; participants are asked to keep slower traffic to the right and allow faster runners to pass on the left.
The event supports local beneficiaries including Cancer Champions and the Yolo County SPCA. Volunteer roles and a Race Voucher Program are available to support participation and local fundraising. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
