Davis Turkey Trot

Event details

The Davis Turkey Trot takes place Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Civic Center Field in Davis, CA. The event offers in-person and virtual options; virtual entrants receive mailed packets after the race or may pick them up at packet pick-up. Pre-race packet pick-up is available the day before at the Veterans Memorial Center and race-day pick-up is at Civic Center Field. There are field limits for all divisions; the half marathon sold out or nearly sold out in recent years. Entries include a long-sleeve DryBlend shirt for most timed distances, a finisher medal for all finishers, and race timing for timed divisions.

Timed events use chip (net) timing and age-group awards are based on net time; overall awards use gun time. The half marathon route goes through downtown Davis, the Cannery, rural roads via F Street and Road 29, and local greenbelts, with approximately one unpaved mile and two short bridge/overpass sections. Water stops are provided along the half marathon course. Special divisions include adaptive athletes, cancer survivors, educators, first responders, stroller, UC Davis affiliations, veterans, dog divisions in the 2 Mile, wheelchair divisions, support-runner categories, and a free child-in-stroller registration.
