Run the Vineyards - Sips, Tricks or Sweets
The Run the Vineyards - Sips, Tricks or Sweets event is a Halloween-themed race hosted at Tolino Vineyards in Bangor. The course offers participants views of the Pocono Mountains during the autumn season. The event features multiple distance options for participants:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Walk
The 5K race is chip-timed with live-streamed results and has a one-hour time limit. The 1 Mile walk is a non-timed event. Both runners and walkers are permitted in the 5K distance.
Participants receive a high-quality custom tech shirt, with the option to upgrade to a long-sleeve version. All finishers receive a souvenir stemless wine glass, and those aged 21 and over receive a glass of wine. The finish line area provides water, bananas, and other treats.
The event includes an after-party featuring live musical entertainment by Matt Miskie and a costume contest with prizes awarded for the best male, female, and team costumes. Food options are available for purchase from The Marquee Kitchen.
Awards are presented to the fastest male and female winners, including the top three overall and winners in various age groups ranging from 14 and under to 70 and over.
