Run the Vineyards - Sips, Tricks or Sweets 5K
Run the Vineyards is the 12th annual Halloween-themed event held on 10/31/2026 at Tolino Winery, 280 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Bangor, PA 18013, US. The event offers two distances and a fall setting near the Pocono Mountains.
- 5K chip-timed race, walkers welcome, one hour time limit
- 1 Mile non-timed walk
The 5K includes live-streamed results, awards for top three overall finishers and age group awards including 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29 and every 10 years thereafter. Finishers aged 21 and over receive one glass of wine; all finishers receive a souvenir stemless wine glass. A custom tech shirt is included for registrants, with an option to upgrade to a long sleeve for an additional $6; shirt choices are guaranteed for registrations completed by Oct. 18 and are available while supplies last afterward.
On-course and finish amenities include a water station, finish line water, and snacks such as bananas and chocolate treats. The event features live musical entertainment, free downloadable photos, a food vendor for purchase, and a costume contest with prizes for best male, female, and team costumes. A souvenir finisher medal is available for purchase on race day. Walkers and children may participate but must be registered; special child pricing applies and wine is not provided to them. The event is rain or shine, with no refunds or deferrals. Volunteers receive event perks including a glass of wine at the after-party and a free future race.
