Run the Vineyards - Running Hare 5K takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Running Hare Vineyards, 150 Adelina Road, Prince Frederick, MD 20678. This is the eighth annual running of the event. The event features a chip-timed 5K run/walk held on the vineyard property.
Race details
The listed entry price is $49.76, including a $3.76 fee; the price increases after January 1, 2026. Registration is required to participate. Packet pick-up is available on race day at the "Good Day for a Run" tent from 7:30 to 8:30 AM; runners and spectators are asked to arrive no later than 8:30 because a portion of the course is on the driveway and it will be closed at 8:45 AM.
Finishers receive a glass of Running Hare wine and a Run the Vineyards stemless wine glass; additional wine is available for purchase. A custom race shirt is offered with women’s, adult/men’s and youth tees, or a women’s racerback tank for an extra $5; registering by April 19 guarantees first choice. Souvenir finisher medals are available for $8 during registration or $10 on race day. The event includes a live musician, a food truck at the after-party, awards for top three overall and age-group winners, free downloadable race photos, and a professional photographer. The race is rain or shine. No transfers or refunds. No strollers or dogs are allowed on the course. Spectators are welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
