Summer Run the Seasons at Cowdray
The Summer event serves as the finale for the 'Run the Seasons' series, held at the Cowdray Estate in Midhurst. The event is based at the estate's polo field, offering views of the Cowdray Ruins and the South Downs National Park.
Participants can choose from several trail distances:
- 10 km
- 10 km CaniRun (dog-friendly)
- 5 km
- 5 km CaniRun (dog-friendly)
- 5 km Junior Run (ages 12-15)
- 3 km Kids Run (ages 6-11)
The courses take runners around the Cowdray Polo Lawns and out toward Heyshott Common. For the 10 km distance, overall winners and series league positions are determined by a points system.
Race headquarters and parking are located at the Cowdray Farm Shop and Cafe. Race numbers are available for collection on the day of the event. All competitors receive a unique medal designed to stack into a four-piece set, along with free digital photos. The event concludes with a BBQ and an open marquee where hampers are presented to winners. Various spot prizes are also distributed as runners cross the finish line.
