Romero Run - Goring-by-Sea
Romero Run is a charity running event organised by Raw Energy Pursuits at Oscar Romero School in Goring-by-Sea, Worthing, West Sussex. The event is scheduled for Sunday 21st June 2026 and all proceeds go to Friends of Romero (Registered Charity 1053384).
There are three distances to choose from:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 3 km (children, 6–13 years)
The 10 km course is described as flat and the routes use a mix of pavements, coastal trails and a tree-lined avenue called The Plantation. The course includes three temporary crossing points. The new 3 km children’s run takes place around the school grounds and is part of a three-race series alongside other fixtures in the series.
Entry fees listed for the event include separate rates for the 5 km, 5 km junior (12–15 years), 10 km and the children’s 3 km. Race numbers can be collected on the day and a relay team race is to be confirmed. Medals and free photos are provided for all 5 km and 10 km finishers.
