Romero Run 2026
The Romero Run takes place on 21 June 2026 at Oscar Romero School, Goring Street, Worthing BN12 5AF, Great Britain. The event is organised by Raw Energy Pursuits and is based at the school grounds.
Three distances are offered:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 3 km children's fun run (U11 yrs)
The route uses roads and coastal trails around Goring by Sea, West Sussex, and is described by the organiser as a fast, flat course. Course maps are provided for the 5 km and 10 km distances.
This is a charity event. Proceeds are allocated to Friends of Romero (Registered Charity 1053384) and the Goring by Sea Church of England Primary School Parent Support Association. The school PTA has stated funds are being raised to upgrade outside sports facilities.
The event is timed using the ST App Service; there will be no chip timing. Entry fees vary by distance and age category, with entry prices starting from £6.00. Registration closes on 18 June 2026.
